This one is a cutie - inspired by the dinosaur decor of my brothers' 80s era bedroom. I wanted it to look crayon-ey, if you know what I mean. And simple. I was also trying to mimic the look of polka dots. So, from afar someone might think "colorful dots". But when they get closer (But not too close. Thanks covid.) and they'll be like "No, my mistake. Those are in fact tiny extinct herbivores." I haven't tested it, but I'm pretty sure you can tell these are dinosaurs from 6'. So, we are good.
My first full collection of fabrics (or whatever!) in the form of frosting, waxy cookies, dinos, and sprinkles. It’s a mix of the iconic and the extinct.
This fabric collection has gone a long way to make a great selection of baby and kid clothing and accessories. I’ve made a custom pair of overalls, overall shorts, overall dresses with bloomers contrasting fabric, a mixed fabric dress, hair bows, bibs, bandanas, and taggie squares. Oh…AND…face masks. Because that’s the world we live in now. I also managed to sell (not much, but some and it’s a start) fabric in the sprinkle and blue/white dino fabric. Hoo-rah.
I came up with this rendering of some very happy herbivores for a Spoonflower Design challenge with a dinosaur theme. I personally love the colors and little smiling faces, but the public did not agree. I came in at approximately 1 millionth. No matter…I carry on.
